Why We Built This Site
Pennsylvania gives the public access to many court case records, but Wyoming County records are not held in one single place. Public docket sheets may appear through the Pennsylvania Unified Judicial System, while certified copies and complete files may require the Prothonotary, Clerk of Courts, Orphans' Court, Register of Wills, a Magisterial District Court, or another county office at the courthouse in Tunkhannock.
The county's structure also differs from states that use a single county clerk. Wyoming County uses a split clerk function, with the Prothonotary handling civil and related records and the Clerk of Courts function handling criminal court records. Marriage records route through the Prothonotary, while estate and probate matters involve the Orphans' Court and Register of Wills path.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to the Wyoming County Court of Common Pleas, the Prothonotary, the Clerk of Courts, the Sheriff's Office, the Correctional Facility, the Register of Wills, Pennsylvania courts, or any government agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot file paperwork or send records requests for anyone
- We cannot issue certified copies of court, marriage, divorce, estate, jail, or vital records
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific Pennsylvania case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, office hour, or address listed is current at the moment you use it
Only the issuing Wyoming County or Pennsylvania government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal.
Search Partners
Some pages include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When a search tool leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee. We do not control what those tools charge or what appears in their results.
